Handbook

The Environmental Engineering minor is structured to introduce the complex and dynamic relationship in the environmental system, with a focus on the urban solutions. Students undertaking the minor will be taught about environmental matters from a diverse range of disciplines and perspectives. Students will be provided with the inter-disciplinary knowledge and research skills necessary to engage with the challenging environmental issues confronting societies of today and of the future, and with the opportunity to translate these attributes into various outputs and interventions. The units cover the important areas including energy, urban setting, pollutant dynamics, soil, waste, and impact assessment.

Availability
The Environmental Engineering minor is available only to students enrolled in the single degree E3001 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) completing the Civil engineering or Chemical engineering specialisation.
