Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

Design optimal components or solutions for complex automotive engineering problems to meet identified needs with appropriate consideration for safety, whole-life cost, net zero carbon as well as resource and environmental considerations.

Build performance automotive components by using the appropriate tools, machinery, and procedures while recognizing the limit of the manufacturing process.

Function effectively both independently and as a member or leader of a multidisciplinary, diverse and inclusive team.

Apply management principles and economic decision-making as a member or leader in a sizable multi-disciplinary team.
