Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

Describe the fundamentals of microorganisms in maintaining their life cycle and growth control;

Reflect the role and importance of microorganisms in medicine, food science and the environment;

Apply recognized microbiology methods and techniques collaboratively to achieve the experimental outcome;

Collect, analyse, interpret and present scientific data via oral or written methods.
