On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

Describe what is cellular metabolism and how it affect our life in general;

2.

Describe the basic structures and chemical properties of lipid and protein;

3.

Describe the mechanisms involved in the storage and processing of lipid and protein;

4.

Describe mechanisms for control of metabolic reaction sequences involving lipid and protein;

5.

Demonstrate advanced laboratory skills by collecting, interpreting and presenting experimental data in an accessible and appropriate format.
