identify and discuss key thinkers and philosophies of the European intellectual tradition;

articulate and apply theoretical frameworks in the analysis of cultural texts regarding human induced effects on the environment;

conduct a research project and communicate findings in an oral, written or multimedia response;

 assess the relevance of theoretical frameworks as applied to potential research projects.
