On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:
1.
speak, listen, read and write in Indonesian to communicate effectively in a range of situations and on a range of themes;
2.
express ideas in fully-formed paragraphs of Indonesian showing mastery of Indonesian grammatical forms;
3.
interpret and orally describe the symbolic repertoires and linguistic aspects used by Indonesians when expressing social issues;
4.
communicate in Indonesian about a limited range of social problems confronted by contemporary Indonesians;
5.
communicate in semi-authentic situations with Indonesians living in Melbourne;
6.
complete a research project using sources in Indonesian.
