On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

identify and explain theories and concepts on gender and gender relations as they pertain to development practice;

identify, assess, and apply gender analysis methods, tools and frameworks commonly used in development practice;

Analyse how individual and collective agency is exercised to advocate for and organise for change in various ways;

4.

Develop an understanding of strategies to work with policymakers when pursuing policy or legislative change pertaining to gender equality;

5.

Develop and apply reflexive thinking that can be applied to a wide variety of professional environments.
