The Telecommunications Infrastructure minor will enable you to delve into communication technologies, encompassing wireless (5G), optical and future-generation technologies, routing and switching principles, and telecommunications protocols. This minor equips you with the theoretical foundation and expertise necessary to design and optimise communication infrastructures. Additionally, you will acquire the skills needed to design software and hardware communication platforms tailored for industrial applications in sectors such as power, mining, aerospace, autonomous vehicles and transportation.

Availability
The Telecommunications infrastructure minor is available only to students enrolled in the single degree E3001 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), except those completing the Biomedical engineering, Chemical engineering or Software engineering specialisations.
