The Department of Economics runs several seminar series and workshops. The invited speakers are mostly leading scholars in their research fields, and the presented papers are focused on the frontiers of economics. You will be required to follow a seminar series in the semester most relevant to your research dissertation. You will select your research project closely related to the presented papers on which you will write your first original research paper. You are also required to select one paper from seminars and write a referee report. The reviewer report will be included in the assessment.
