Overview
You will be required to conduct a comprehensive and detailed, in-depth critical review of literature relevant to your scientific research topic; identify a ‘research gap’ in the current literature; derive research questions or hypotheses (whichever is applicable) for testing; write a report, showing due regard to relevant stylistic conventions.

On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

develop the ability to conduct and manage a planned study

apply critical thinking, problem solving and presentation skills in activities dealing with a scientific research project
