Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:
1.

Explain how concepts, theories, and models in organisational psychology inform mental health and wellbeing in workplaces.

2.

Assess and communicate to a variety of audiences, factors which impact the mental health and wellbeing of individuals and teams in the workplace.

3.

Apply knowledge of mental health and wellbeing to risk assessment for physical and psychosocial safety in the workplace.

4.

Apply concepts, theories, and models in organisational psychology to facilitate changes which enhance the mental health and wellbeing of individuals, teams, and workplaces.

5.

Evaluate organisational issues related to individual work behaviours and attitudes, organisational structure, and workplace culture.

Assessment summary

Assessment in this unit includes hurdle assessment tasks. Failure of any hurdle assessment task may result in failure of the unit.
