Explore the biopsychosocial factors underpinning mental health across the lifespan

2.

Critically appraise the ethics, principles, policies and guidelines that inform mental health practice in different public and private sectors.

3.

Critically review the dominant discourses and experience of mental health to advocate for innovation of policy and practice

4.

Recognise the importance of reflective practice and apply it for personal and professional development

Assessment in this unit includes hurdle assessment tasks. Failure of any hurdle assessment task may result in failure of the unit.

1 - Poster presentation on mental health systems and practice (1 page poster)
2 - Case study analysis (10-12 mins pre-recorded video)
