Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:
1.

Explain concepts, theories, and models in organisational psychology.

2.

Identify factors that are determinants of workplace health and well-being.

3.

Examine the measurement of concepts, theories, models and interventions in the workplace.

4.

Apply concepts, theories and models in organisational psychology to generate interventions to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of individuals and teams in the workplace.

5.

Apply the models or concepts to address organisational issues related to individual work behaviours and attitudes, organisational structure and/or culture.

6.

Identify and communicate with the different audiences within the organisation about what factors might impact the mental health and wellbeing of individuals and teams in the workplace.

Assessment summary

Assessment in this unit includes hurdle assessment tasks. Failure of any hurdle assessment task may result in failure of the unit.

Assessment

1 - Video presentation of the organisational intervention proposal draft.
2 - Organisational intervention proposal (3,000 words (strict word limit))
3 - Job analysis/risk assessment and program/training evaluation simulation (10 minutes)
