On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

to gain a historical perspective on the evolving nature of work with emphasis on the interplay between new technologies and working and living conditions.

2.

develop critical thinking skills relating to the changing nature of work  and its economic, political, and social implications

3.

understand emerging patterns of labour markets, trade, and fiscal policy implications (including taxation)

4.

understand emerging market structure outcomes from an Industrial Organisation perspective.
