On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:
1.

understand the foundations of finance and be able to apply pricing models to the valuation of equity and debt instruments in global markets

2.

evaluate investment proposals using capital budgeting techniques

3.

formulate capital structure and dividend policies consistent with entities' objectives

4.

develop capabilities to work effectively in a group and/or demonstrate effective individual research skills to produce professional quality business documents to solve problems related to current issues in financial management

5.

demonstrate in individual summative assessment task the acquisition of a comprehensive understanding of the topics covered by this unit.
