On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

Outline the breadth of interconnected factors that are important to consider in the field of mental health and illness.

2.

Explain how different types of research inform knowledge and practice in mental health and illness.

3.

Critically appraise mental health research to identify key limitations, and propose future research directions.

4.

Critically evaluate the research literature on mental health or illness and evaluate the potential for clinical translation.

5.

Integrate different types of research to identify targets for interventions for a specific mental health issue.

2 - Reflections of future research directions (4 x 350 word written reflections) (7.5% per reflection)
