Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:
1.

Describe key concepts underlying core psychology topics, including: personality, motivation, emotion, sensation and perception, and social psychology;

2.

Describe the key concepts underlying the research process, research methods and design; 

3.

Apply psychological research methods and the principles required to evaluate data;

4.

Summarise key aspects of scientific journal articles on a chosen topic and prepare a written document on reported findings.
