On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

explain the different meanings of education globally

2.

demonstrate how education has influenced your own life and that of your extended family over time

3.

identify the different ways in which culture has and can affect the philosophy and delivery of education

4.

describe frameworks that support cross cultural teaching and learning and how they could be used in practice

5.

identify teaching strategies that are responsive to the needs of students from diverse linguistic, cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.
