In this unit, you will undertake a science based internship of at least 120 hours, where you will put into practice the knowledge and skills developed in your course. Pre-placement workshops will support your preparation for the placement and develop an understanding of science-based professions, the work culture, and the skills and attributes required for the workplace. You have two options to source your internship. You can find your own internship which must be approved by the unit coordinator and the Work Integrated Learning team as part of the application process. Alternatively, you can apply for a Monash sourced placement, which is a competitive process.
