Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:

Assess the framework and techniques employed to appraise and evaluate options to enhance the sustainability of urban transport systems.
2.
Assess supply and demand-oriented responses to contemporary urban transport challenges.
3.
Discuss the role of local culture and context as a determinant of travel behaviour and the characteristics of the transport system
4.
Apply an appropriate combination of models to predict travel demand.

You are required to achieve at least 45% in each component of the continuous assessment and an overall mark of 50% to achieve a pass grade in the unit. If you fail to achieve this requirement, you will be given a maximum of 45% in the unit.
