Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:
1.

examine the role of accounting information systems in analysing and providing decision support to managers

2.

explain the design of accounting information systems and financial models

3.

develop financial models to assist in decision making

4.

apply critical thinking, problem solving and presentation skills to individual and / or group activities dealing with accounting information systems and demonstrate in an individual summative assessment task the acquisition of a comprehensive understanding of the topics covered by ACW2420.

Assessment summary

Within semester assessment: 40% + Examination: 60%

This unit contains a hurdle requirement that you must achieve to be able to pass the unit. The consequence of not achieving a hurdle requirement is a fail grade (NH) and a maximum mark of 45 for the unit.
