Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, you should be able to:
1.

examine the role of accounting information systems in analysing and providing decision support to managers

2.

explain the design of accounting information systems and financial models

3.

develop financial models to assist in decision making

4.

apply critical thinking, problem solving and presentation skills to individual and / or group activities dealing with accounting information systems and demonstrate in an individual summative assessment task the acquisition of a comprehensive understanding of the topics covered by ACB2420.
